Group Ride Saturday September 17

Meet us at 8:00 Saturday morning at VSECU (1 Bailey Ave, Montpelier) for an 8:15 departure. We’ll ride a bit on the bike path, then gravel for several miles along River Rd., a tiny bit on Route 100B, and another tiny bit on Route 2 until we get to Red Hen Baking. We will make a quick pit stop to pick up sandwiches, pastries, or whatever else you’d like to purchase. Since many of us want to ride but are on a time crunch, we will bring our purchases with us back to our starting point where you can decide to snack with us or head out and enjoy your treats elsewhere.

This ride is open to all riders; we will regroup as needed and no one will be left behind. We will ride approximately 13 miles with very little elevation; a few hills that are rideable and walkable!

Bring a fanny pack, backpack, or bike bag to tote your purchases back with you, money or a card to pay for your purchases, a water bottle, and a bike helmet. It’s also helpful to have a bike light. If you need a bike light or a bike bag, plan to visit Vermont Bicycle Shop prior to Saturday!

Vermont Bicycle Club is a LGBTQIA+ supporting community of cyclists and this ride is open to any rider!
