I got the [mountain bike] patrol on the [Thursday Night] patrol Foes that want to make sure my [lockout]’s closed

0% chance of rain this Thursday and some proper warm weather are going to make for great conditions for our Millstone Adventure Hour mountain bike group ride! If you’ve ridden Millstone a hundred times, come out and see it through someone else’s eyes, if you’ve never ridden before, this is the perfect chance to have a guided introduction to the trails!

Thursday, June 4
Riders gather at 5:15, at Brook St. Garage, Millstone Trails Parking
Wheels roll at 5:30

Barb and Bridget lead us this week. We’ll be starting things off with a beginner friendly warm up loop for folks then the ride continues a little longer for more intermediate riders who want a little more. The beginner loop will take the group about 40-45 minutes, and the continued loop after will add another 40-45 minute ride time to the evening.

Helmets are required.

If you have not already done so, filling out our 2026 rider waiver form ahead of time is required as well. You can do it all online at www.VermontBicycleClub.com/waiver.

If you’ve filled out your 2026 Ride Waiver, be sure to swing down to the shop for your 2026 Vermont Bicycle Club sticker!
Having that on your bike makes it much easier for ride leaders to know you’ve met the requirements to join us.

Our rides are designed to create a welcoming space for beginner cyclists, and are open to anyone who shares the goal of fostering a comfortable environment, including experienced cyclists.

We aim to shift away from the established social systems within the cycling world. There are no exclusions; participants are asked to create space for individuals; especially black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), women, queer folks, and those from marginalized or underrepresented backgrounds to feel safe, supported, and confident, ensuring the best possible experience for all.
