The 2025 Take a Kid Adventure Biking Day is here!!

This year we’ll be riding at the East Montpelier location of the Cross Vermont Trail.
1668 VT-14, East Montpelier, VT.
Sunday, May 18
Gather between 9:30-9:50 am.
Wheels roll at 10:00am
We’ll ride up to 4 miles total distance (2 miles out, 2 miles back) on the Cross Vermont Trail (smoothish gravel path through the woods) We usually set aside about 1 hour and 30 minutes of ride time so kids can stop and enjoy nature and pedal at their own pace as they please.
Folks can also turn around at any point on the ride as the trail is out and back and there are no turn offs.
This section of the Cross Vermont Trail is easy enough for the youngest riders while still being fun for the older kid in us all.
All participants and guardians must fill out the 2025 rider waiver found here:

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
All youth riders are the responsibility of their accompanying adult.
All participants must have a bicycle in good working order. While we will be on hand to pump a tire up and such, we won’t have any equipment to perform any repairs.
