I can hear Kevin and Kelsey now. Even though we are practically the same age:
“I don’t get a single one of these referrences, Darren…”
Hey! It’s a new season, it’s a different bicycle, it’s a whole different world, and that also means it’s a new theme to our ride posts!
We’re riding fat tired bicycles at Millstone!!
Thursday, January 9
Begin gathering at 5:00 to 5:15 and be ready to roll at 5:30!
Meet at 44 Brook St. Websterville
Helmets are required.
Join Bridget, Kevin, Barb, and Kelsey on a social and friendly fat bike adventure at Millstone Trails. Route will be determined at the beginning of the ride based on trails conditions, temperature, and other dynamic factors. Millstone is stunning all year round, and at the same time it is an exceptional experience in the Winter.
Dress in warm layers and also be preparred for the need to shed and carry some of those layers during the ride. Some folks have a backpack, some folks have large bags, some folks even have rear racks and panniers to carry stuff.
A front light that is bright enough (350 lumens or more) to see in the dark that is securely attached to your helmet or handlebar is required.
If you have not yet done so for 2025, filling out our rider waiver form ahead of time is required as well. You can do it all online at www.VermontBicycleClub.com
**As with all fat bike rides, conditions of the trail may mean that we need to change locations, or cancel entirely. We will send an email update when that happens, so make sure you are subscribed to our the appropriate list or that you are paying attention to the Vermont Bicycle Shop social media.**
