Intermediate Ride! East Corinth Ramble

A 28 Mile loop half gravel, half paved in the hills between East Corinth and Groton.

We’ll meet Sunday, 4/17, at 10:00 am at this unpaved park and ride (see photo of the map below) off of Highway 25 just south of the East Corinth General Store (stop in for a snack!).
Tires roll at 10:15. We’ll ride a fairly easy 5 mile climb before descending towards Rygate.
Then heading south from Groton we’ll be on pavement along Powder Spring Rd. for a couple of shorter climbs, after that it’s 99% downhill for 8 miles.
With the distance and climbing this early in the season we have listed this as intermediate so folks know what to expect. It’s by no means a limitation on who can join us, at the same time it’s not the ideal first ride of the season either.

Take the Vermont Bicycle Shop Shuttle! There are usually 5-6 spots in the van.
Give us a call at the shop 802-622-8222 to let us know before Saturday midday as seats will fill up!
To take the shuttle, meet at Vermont Bicycle Shop no later than 9:15 with bikes ready to load onto the van. We’ll depart at 9:30 and arrive at the parking lot at 10:00am, it will take a bit longer to unload and be ready to ride at 10:30, we want to be prompt so the other riders aren’t waiting on us to get started.

Gravel parking lot is at the red indicator.
