It was a great weekend in New Hampshire last weekend, and we had such a fun a relaxing ride on the Presidential Rail Trail. Now it’s time to get down to the bacon.

It’s time to start riding some miles and riding some hills if we want to be ready for Ride the Ridges!
This Sunday, we’ll start at the East Montpelier Cross Vermont Trail head (on South 14).

We’ll ride a short section of the Cross Vermont Trail and then head North and ride a mix of gravel roads, a bit of overgrown grass path, and we’ll cross a couple of paved roads. Note the 5+ mile climb in the middle of the ride that will eventually give way to a pretty wild 4 mile descent.

This is an intermediate route, with a short advanced bike handling skills section in the middle.
We’ll probably stop at the Adamant Store and such so bring some snack money!
