Friends, it is that special time of year again and we have a jam packed Saturday for our first Pizza Ride of the year.
Saturday, April 5th!
First: 11:00 am
Rolling Resistance riders are meeting at Vermont Bicycle Shop to ride over to the state house to participate in the Hands Off Rally.
Then at 3:15pm
Riders gather for our first Pizza Ride of the season! (Don’t worry, Rolling Resistance riders plan on being back in Barre for the Pizza Ride. You can do both!!
Wheels roll at 3:30 sharp for a super fun and casual 30 minute ride around Barre. We’ll have pizza at the shop after the ride!

Public Philosophy Week w/ Clare LaFrance and Vermont Bicycle Shop! Gather at around 4:15 for a special in-person event with our friend Clare LaFrance who will talk with Vermont Bicycle Shop owner Darren Ohl about the Philosophy of Bicycling. If you are not familiar with the wonderful public engagement series Public Philosophy Week, check out their website. Each year, they host a lively series of discussions, talks, tastings, and screenings, aimed at fostering thoughtful reflections on life’s most meaningful questions.
