Information shared and posted to Vermont Bicycle Club is owned by the respective author of the post and no part may be copied, reproduced, used, or otherwise manipulated or shared with out express written permission.

No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe, it is the responsibility of every member of this site to ensure that all people feel safe and to work towards creating equity for members. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

Advertising and Promotion
No one shall post advertisements without permission from page admins. Cycling events advertisement is limited to Vermont Bicycle Shop and to rides and events organized by non profit organizations where the ride or event raises money for non profit organizations that serve the greater Barre area. If you are unsure please reach out to page admins.

Please keep for sale posts to the appropriate for sale group page. Also, if your first post or your only post is something for sale it will definitely be removed.
This website is owned and operated by Vermont Bicycle Shop, there will be advertisements from time to time pertaining to Vermont Bicycle Shop related things.

Building Community
We ask that your posts be focused on things that build community and engage in socialization. This is a group for socially minded cyclists to connect for rides, discussions about riding and rides, and other socially relevant topics. Other posts that step outside of that might end up muted or deleted.

No Promotions or Spam
Give more than you take in this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.

Respect Everyone's Privacy
Being part of this site requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make our group great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared between members and within groups and on this site should stay in those respective spaces. It's also important to note that we can't always trust others in a group setting, be cautious about what you share. Even though this is a closed and somewhat private space, websites can be hacked and members can behave in a dubious manner.

Acceptable Content
We consider this an adult webspace. Some members curse or some bicycle related topics may be adult in nature. While this a safe space to interact free from bigotry we cannot garauntee a space safe from profanity or other such content. We do ask that your posts be tempered and relatively free of controversy. In this arena a board of admins will decide if a post or user violates these rules and will act on behalf of the community at their discression. This rule is meant to basically keep some of you fools from sending unsolicted messages to people and to let you know people swear on this site. Don't be a poo poo head.
