Vermont Bicycle Club was founded by a group of cyclists  from all disciplines who live in Barre, Vermont. With the support of Vermont Bicycle Shop we've created a casual and loosely formed "club" to organize bikes rides within our community. With the help of Vermont Bicycle Shop we've got this great webpage and a dedicated group to help facilitate friendly and comfortable access to bicycling in Vermont. To that end we felt the need for a more cohesive point of interaction and the Vermont Bicycle Shop answered that need creating the Vermont Bicycle Club Members page.

Using the site
Vermont Bicycle Club is a pretty simplified social media site. You can add friends, you make private posts so only people on your Friends lists can see it. To get started if you don't see the main menu on the right side of the page then lick the three bar menu icon at the top right, it looks like this:

From there you can see your Friends List, Photos will show you your photos. Notifications and Messages feels pretty obvious. To get back to the main News Feed click on Vermont Bicycle Club at the top center of the page or you can find it in the menu to the left. Click Links, a sub menu will open and you will see News Feed, click News Feed and you will be back on the main page.

Groups
Please don't create any new groups. We will delete any new groups that are added without reaching out to an admin first. If you have a group idea let us know. The purpose of the groups here is to create easy to navigate ride discussion posts. When you join a group you will then see posts made to that group on your main page. If you aren't a member of that group then you will not see them.
