On Sunday, June 30 our women/women friendly group will ride from Montpelier to Red Hen Bakery and back. We will meet in the parking lot of Montpelier High School at 10:00 am for a 10:15 departure. We will ride on the Montpelier bike path, gravel roads, and a short distance on Route 100B/Route 2 before stopping at Red Hen Bakery for drinks/snacks and then returning to our starting point.
This route is roughly 13 miles, is mostly flat with a couple of small hills, and is primarily on dirt/gravel roads. This will be a very slow paced and supportive social ride. We will ride at a “slow roll” and we will regroup frequently during the ride so that no one is ever riding alone. You can expect to spend about an hour riding to Red Hen and another hour riding back. Riders of all abilities on all sorts of bikes are encouraged to join us.

If you are unable to complete this beforehand, I can help you when we meet at 10:00.
You will need a bike and a helmet, water, and money for any purchases you plan to make at Red Hen Bakery. You can reach out with any questions by either commenting here, messaging me, or by sending me an email at kelsey@vermontbicycleshop.com.
